Finance Coordinator
(Category: Permanent, Full‐Time; Location: On-site in Chalk River, Ontario)

We’re looking for a Finance Coordinator to join our team. If you are detail-oriented, good with numbers, committed to excellence, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently, we’d like to hear from you!

This position is primarily in-person to best support the day-to-day operations of the finance team and foster ongoing learning and growth.

Key Responsibilities:
• Enter financial transactions in SAP Business One accurately and efficiently.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Review and analyze employee timesheets and labour reports.
• Review monthly employee leave worksheets.
• Compile, review and process expense reports, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Assist in cheque runs and manage related documentation.
• Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing activities as needed.
• Support inventory counts and reconciliations.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
• Facilitate positive working relationships with managers and employees across the business.
• Interface with customers and suppliers to resolve financial inquiries.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports as needed.
• Support the Business Operations team with administrative tasks as needed.

We are looking for candidates who meet the following profile:
• Due to security requirements, must be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada, and will be required to provide a criminal record check as a condition of employment.
• Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping.
• Exceptional attention to details, with high accuracy and thoroughness in work.
• Advanced MS Office skills (with particular emphasis on Excel).
• High comfort level with computers, with the ability to readily learn new software tools.
• Ability to follow written procedures and checklists with high accuracy.
• Familiarity with enterprise resource planning systems, such as SAP Business One, is an asset.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to cultivate positive relationships and collaborate with others.
