Job Description

The Township of Madawaska Valley is currently hiring for an Office Administrative Assistant. This is a full time position with benefits and part of the OMERS pension plan.

The successful applicant will be primarily responsible for administering the day-to-day scheduling of the Building Department and Planning & Development services of the Municipality including support for the Committee of Adjustment. They will coordinate appointments and provide support services for all aspects of Building Services including permits, By-law Enforcement and Public Works Operations, including but not limited to receiving inquiries and complaints, processing payments, assisting with correspondence, scheduling, and organizing electronic meetings and necessary agendas.
