Seasonal Location: County of Renfrew and surrounding area
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in tile laying, siding, heavy lifting, carpentry, maintenance person work, assembly, water damage restoration, plastering, door hanging, and cabinet installation.
Duties:
Measure and mark cutting lines on materials
Cut and shape materials to fit specific measurements
Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim
Construct building frameworks including walls, floors, and doorframes
Help with water damage restoration projects
Repair or replace damaged or defective parts
Assemble and fasten materials to make frameworks or props using hand tools and wood screws
Install cabinets and molding
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a carpenter
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Knowledge of woodworking tools and equipment
Good understanding of math concepts such as geometry and algebra
Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds
Good communication skills
Expected hours: 50-60 per week
Probation Period: 90 Day (3 Months)
Benefits: Accessible after the 90 Day Probation Period
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
