Company Information:
The Pembroke Curling Centre (PCC) is a hub for social, competitive and opportunities to learn about curling. But we are much more than that. We also have a completely accessible hall available for rentals for events such as private parties, celebrations and conferences. We have two golf simulators that are operated during our curling season, from mid-October to the end of April, so folks of all ages and abilities can continue to keep honing their golf skills in a comfortable setting out of the snow and cold.
Job Location: 428 Herbert Street, Pembroke Ontario
Rate of Pay: $21.00 – $25.00 per hour
Job Type: Part-Time Positions & Casual Bartenders
Average # Hours per Week: Approximately 10-20 hrs/wk for Part-Time Positions; Casual Bartenders as needed

Job Descriptions:
1)
The Golf Simulator Attendant & Bartender (the Part-Time positions) are responsible for the following:
a)
Facilitation of golf simulator equipment when operating for guests/members
b)
Sales and service of drinks and snacks from PCC bar to guests/members
c)
Welcoming golfers and get them set up for their game(s)
d)
Provide assistance to golfers in the event of equipment/software issues
e)
Provide bar service during their play time.
2)
Casual Bartenders are responsible for the following:
a)
Opening/Closing the Club as required
b)
Providing bar service and bar maintenance (restocking, glassware, etc)
The Part-Time positions will be scheduled regularly. Casual Bartenders positions will be called upon as/when required.
Required Qualifications:
Successful candidates will have proven customer service, problem-solving, time management and communication skills.
Current Smartserve qualifications: the PCC will cover the cost of attaining that certification upon successful completion
Experience working in a hospitality or a sport facility would be an asset.
