Safety Training

Algonquin College's Corporate Training DepartmentSafety in the workplace is priority number one, and Algonquin College’s Corporate Training Department offers a variety of courses, both in class and on-line, to support companies and organizations in meeting their obligations to provide a safe workplace.

The College has partnered with NORCAT (Northern Centre for Advanced Technology) to offer a series of on-line courses that offer certifications. These certification courses start at under $25 per employee and include:

If your employees require a more comprehensive safety course we can also provide this through traditional classroom learning. Most employers now require employees to have a minimum of WHMIS training. This includes employers who are hiring summer students. The NORCAT on-line safety training is accessible and cost effective for employers.
