This training program explains all the requirements as set out by the Occupational Health and Safety Act with regard to working at heights. Your rights and responsibilities, recognizing situations that present fall hazards, safety procedures, and use of personal protective equipment and many other aspects of working at heights are reinforced.
Notes
Bring a hard hat and CSA approved footwear to the course for the practical portion of the course.
Upon successful completion of testing, a certificate recognized by the Ministry of Labour will be provided. Certification was required by April 1,2017 for all construction workers in Ontario. Instructor: B. Derouin, #34672 ARCOSE
If your employer requires proof of enrollment that will be acceptable to a Ministry of Labour inspector prior to you completing the course:
1. Print a copy of this page which includes the trainer's name and provider #
2. Provide your employer with a copy of your receipt and timetable which will include the College name, your name, the name of the course and the time and date of course you are registered for.
