Employee Professional Development with AC Corporate Training

AC Corporate Training, based out of the learning centre at 700 Sussex Drive, offers professional development and custom training solutions for individuals and teams already in the workforce.

College employees are eligible to enroll in Corporate Training courses for free*. Build your career by taking advantage of such courses and programs as: Business Analysis, Lean belt certifications, Better Minute Taking, Resolving Conflict, Change Management, Leadership and Management for Women and much more.

Corporate Training Centre Courses and Programs

*Employees can join only guaranteed to run course where there is space in the class. They must cover any third party costs such as text books and exams.


Note: The Fundamentals of Leadership Certificate Program is excluded from this offer. Employees interested in leadership courses are encouraged to explore the ALEI 1, 2, and 3 courses with their manager. In addition, all IT courses offered by third party vendors are full price for employees.

Process for Employee Registration

  1. Contact a Learning Consultant about the course or program you are interested in registering for. Call 613-727-7729 or email training@algonquincollege.com. They will help determine if there is space in the class for an employee (paying clients take priority) and if there are any third party costs associated with the course.
  2. Complete the Course Registration Form and obtain your Manager’s approval and signature. Email your completed form to training@algonquincollege.com.
  3. You will receive an email confirmation that you have enrolled in the course, and in advance of the start date, you will receive details to help you prepare for the course.
  4. To withdraw or reschedule, please email training@algonquincollege.com at least 10 days prior to the course date.
