Refund Policy
Refunds for any annual, monthly, and weekly permits are available through the Algonquin College Parking Services Office. Daily parking fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Refund Process
To obtain a refund for a parking permit, email Parking Services at parking@algonquincollege.com.
The refund will be calculated and processed based on the day the refund request was sent.
Once the request has been processed, a request will be sent to Finance to process the refund as a cheque – which will be mailed to the client. The permit refund amount will be reduced by the amount of any outstanding fees otherwise owed to the College.
The refund process may take 4-8 weeks.
Refund Calculations
Annual Permits: Annual permits will be refunded based on the number of months used – including the month the permit was returned using the Monthly Permit Rate. Fall Annual permit refunds can be issued until February 28 of the current calendar year. Winter Annual permit refunds will be issued until June 30. Spring Annual permit refunds can be issued until October 31. Refunds are calculated based on usage.
Monthly Permits: Monthly permits will be refunded based on the number of weeks used – including the week the permit was returned, using the Weekly Permit Rate.
Weekly Permits: Weekly permits will be refunded based on the number of days used – including the day the permit was returned, using the Daily Permit Rate.
