Volunteer for AC Day 1
Upper-year students – we need your help at AC Day 1!
We are getting ready to welcome new students during AC Day 1 on September 3, and we need your help! We are looking for volunteers to support us in a variety of areas – from set-up to greeters to food pop-ups.
Volunteering is a great way to share your Algonquin College expertise and give students a warm welcome on their first day – plus, you can add this experience to your Co-Curricular Record!
Volunteers who attend training and their scheduled shifts on AC Day 1 will also have the chance to win 1 of 3 $50 gift cards to Amazon!

Volunteer Training
All volunteers MUST attend one, 1-hour virtual training session prior to AC Day 1. There will be two training session dates for volunteers that will take place on:
- Tuesday, August 27 • 2pm – 3pm
- Thursday, August 29 • 11am – 12pm
