Drop into the Mamidosewin Centre to say hi and meet the staff! At the Centre, you can learn about Indigenous student initiatives and programs, opportunities to get involved, and upcoming events!

Start your first day of college off right by visiting the Social Room for a day full of fun activities including live music, trivia, bracelet making, a photobooth, coffee and other refreshments*, and MORE! The Social Room will feature a variety of opportunities for you to make new friends and connections in whatever way you’re comfortable with! Event Schedule:
- 9:30am to 12:00pm – Stop by the Social Room to grab a yummy pastry and a freshly brewed coffee from BrewBar while you enjoy the live music and chill coffee house vibes!
- 1:00pm to 4:00pm – Stop by the Social Room to participate in a variety of social games and activites such as trivia and bracelet making, strike a pose in the photobooth, grab an afternoon pick-me-up snack*, and make new friends and connections! *Coffee, snacks, and other refreshments will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

This short walk through our beautiful library will introduce attendees to our onsite services and resources; such as the silent study area, collaborative learning spaces, and helpful staff. Learn how easy it is to use our self-checkout kiosks to borrow books and how to borrow laptops from our new 24 hour laptop lockers. Find out more about the Coaching and Peer Tutoring Services. Finally, meet Page 1+; – it’s a lot like Google, but instead of searching the web, it searches the library’s online and in-house collection!

Drop by the Housing and Accommodations booth to chat with the college’s Housing Coordinator about workshops and webinars offered throughout the year on a variety of topics including student housing options, tenant rights, how to make living independently more affordable, and much more!

Do you have questions about how to use the on-campus printers? Drop by the Print Services table where an expert from Print Services can instruct on how to print on campus, show you the online printing processes, and answer any additional questions you may have.

Learn how Windows, Microsoft365, and other apps make coursework like reading, writing, and note taking easier. Come see how these tools can change how you learn and help you do your best in school.
