Human resources management is important to organizing, leading and managing project teams. Students explore various leadership techniques necessary to control the human dynamic within the project life cycle. Through a series of workshops and exercises, students study the key concepts, tools and techniques for motivating high performance in project teams, such as teambuilding and motivation, leadership and conflict control. Students develop an understanding of the importance of blending sound project management techniques with effective leadership skills.
Notes
Sections 841, 842, and 843 require you to register in the month prior to the course start date. Registration for these courses closes end of day on the last business day of the month before the course starts.
Each course equals either 45 hours of Project Management education hours towards a PMI® certification or if you have your PMP®, 45 PDUs.
