Students examine the impact of group dynamics on conflict in the workplace. Theories of group development, group foundations and group conflict are explored. Students learn how various cultural influences and negotiation styles impact conflict. They develop an appreciation of the complexities of conflict and diversity in a group setting. Students also identify how leadership impacts conflicts in the workplace and within teams. They learn strategies for managing the complexity of conflict in teams.
