Commercial construction like any other business relies on good cost accounting to ensure proper management of the project. Students are introduced to construction accounting and job costing in which they gain an understanding around construction accounting concepts and processes such as bookkeeping, financial statements, job costings and management accounting functions. Through practical assignments and learning activities, students analyze and apply job cost accounting processes.
