Working with clients diagnosed with dementia is an essential experience that assists students to apply & integrate theory with practice. A suitable placement agency is identified and a learning plan is developed with the student based on individual goals, experiential & measurable learning outcomes.

Notes

Before registering a student must successfully complete all theory courses HLT6671, HLT6700, HLT6701, HLT6734 and one elective: NSG5627 or HLT5634. 

This placement course is part of a graduate certificate program which requires an approval process. Online registration is not available. Please visit the Field Placement Centre in the semester prior to your placement to determine all eligibility requirements have been met in order to register for this course.
