Basic Controls for Gas Technicians (2C)
Course: HRA0024
Knowledge and use of basic controls for gas-fired equipment is essential for heating/cooling control, safety and energy efficiency. Building on previous study, students develop troubleshooting capabilities while gaining the understanding of the control systems critical to gas-fired equipment. Students describe and identify controls in gas fired systems, identify the action of the control and troubleshoot controls. Students also assess defective controls and demonstrate how to repair or replace them.
