As per College Policy AA12 Changes to Original Registration, it is your responsibility to be aware of the impact that dropping or adding a course can have on your program of study, course load and student status. Changes to original registration may impact your: Full-time status Program progression (i.e. pre and co-requisites) Field placement eligibility Current and future term fees Financial aid Academic standing Study permit status Refer to the Academic Calendar to ensure you understand the implications of reducing your course load at this time. The implications vary based on the start date of your courses and the date you choose to withdraw. The date stamp on this form will be honoured even if the request is processed following the deadline.Confirmation of AA12(Required) I have read and understood the above statement As per College Policy AA08 Course Load: To meet the standard full-time threshold, you must be enrolled in at least 66⅔ per cent (%) of the courses required or 70 per cent (%) of the contact hours for the program of instruction in a given term. To meet the full-time threshold for the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) you must have a minimum 60% load (40% if you are a student with a disability approved on your OSAP account). To meet the full-time threshold for reduced load approved Centre for Accessible Learning (CAL) students, you must have a minimum 40% load. Confirmation of AA8(Required) I have read and understood the above statement Withdrawing from a course may impact your financial record as follows: There is no reduction in fees if you maintain a full-time course load. There is no reduction in fees if you withdraw after the first ten (10) working days of a term. If your status changes to part-time due to a course withdrawal, your tuition fees may be adjusted according to the published fee schedule. Refer to the Academic Calendar for specific dates based on your program start date. If a course is officially dropped within the first third of the course duration, all reference to the course is removed from your academic record. If a course is officially dropped within the second third of the course duration, a "W" (indicating withdrawal) is recorded for the course on your transcript. “W” does not impact your Grade Point Average (GPA).
