Assessing individuals provides critical information necessary to develop a comprehensive plan of why and how to assess the five health-related components of physical fitness. Students compare and contrast the major five health-related components of physical fitness: body composition, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility and cardiorespiratory fitness. Through video animations, multimedia presentations, assessment challenges and sequential questioning, students develop a practical approach for effectively performing assessment skills and techniques.
