Algonquin College welcomes the community with inaugural Degree Discovery Event

OTTAWA (Monday, Nov. 25, 2024) – Future students and the Ottawa community are invited to Algonquin College’s inaugural Degree Discovery Event. Attendees can explore more than 20 unique degree programs to help get career-ready.

Date: Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2024
Time: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Location: Algonquin College, 1385 Woodroffe Ave., Ottawa, C Building (DARE District)

Event Highlights:

  • Campus tours and the opportunity to ask questions about our unique degrees
  • A student/alumni panel at 6 p.m. to learn why degrees at college are a great option
  • Apply to degree programs on ontariocolleges.ca for FREEat the event*

*Eligibility is for new degree applications only.

With over 700 people already registered to attend, the event will shine a spotlight on degree programs at Algonquin College, which are known for their high quality and deep connection to industry. Outstanding faculty provide a combination of theory and practical hands-on experience, including numerous work-integrated learning opportunities such as co-op placements and applied research. This well-rounded approach prepares graduates to be successful in their careers.
