Tower Road closure and detour due to construction, August 24 to 25, 2018

Please be advised that Physical Resources will close down Tower Road (the section of the road between buildings T, N and P) on Ottawa campus from 8 a.m. on Friday, August 24 until 5 p.m on Saturday, August 25.

During this period, it will also re-open one lane on the Service Road on Ottawa campus to serve detoured traffic.

The purpose of the Tower Road closure is to facilitate the implementation of the buried pipe project which will allow buildings J, N, P, S and T to be connected to our Combined Heat and Power Plant where the waste energy produced by the Co-generation units will be used to heat or cool these buildings. Please note that detour signs will be in place to guide pedestrian and vehicular traffic. One lane on the Service Road will be open and traffic control personnel will be on location to direct traffic during normal College operating hours and signal lights will be in operation after hours. College Avenue will remain open as well as access to Visitor Parking Lot 7.
