Minister Merrilee Fullerton, John Stackhouse to address Algonquin’s annual President’s Breakfast

OTTAWA — Algonquin College is pleased to host The Honourable Merrilee Fullerton, Minister of Training, Colleges and Universities, at its annual President’s Breakfast on Wednesday, Aug. 22.

“It is such an honour to have Minister Fullerton visit us and spend time with our Algonquin community,” said Algonquin President Cheryl Jensen. “This event is always an opportunity for us to focus on the future and the term ahead, and we look forward to having Minister Fullerton share her thoughts on the future for all postsecondaries.”

Employees from the Perth, Pembroke and Ottawa campuses will assemble for the event, which usually takes place in late August each year as a way to mark the start of a new term and for President Jensen to share her vision for the College in the year ahead.

This year’s Breakfast will focus on ways the College can accelerate its plans to personalize education for each student and will also feature a presentation on The Coming Skills Revolution from John Stackhouse, Senior Vice President, Office of the CEO, at RBC.
