What is a Foundation program?
Our foundation programs provide an opportunity to explore related fields of study and prepare learners to continue their academic pathways towards a career in their area of interest.
When can I start the program?
The Music, Media and Film Foundations program has intakes for Fall (September to April) and Winter (January to August).
Will this program help me to develop my portfolio?
Yes. Whether you are starting your portfolio from scratch, or already have one in the works, this program will help you to develop a portfolio that showcases your strengths. This portfolio can then be used to help you ladder into one of our Diploma or Advanced Diploma programs.
What pathway opportunities are there after I graduate?
The skills acquired in this program will help you to ladder into some of our Diploma/Advanced Diploma programs, including:
- Broadcasting – Radio and Podcasting Ontario College Diploma
- Broadcasting – Television and Streaming Video Ontario College Diploma
- Film and Media Production Ontario College Diploma
- Music Industry Arts Ontario College Diploma
Each program reserves a certain number of seats for graduates of Music, Media and Film Foundations.
Do I need to submit a portfolio?
Currently, there are no portfolio requirements to take this program.
