Portfolio
A portfolio is a sampling of your best pieces of art and design and should demonstrate creativity, neatness and how you developed your ideas. The portfolio should also demonstrate your “hand skills” and how well you can sketch your ideas. This is more important than showing us a completed computer graphic.
Your portfolio submission is extremely important. It will be reviewed and evaluated by graphic design faculty and allow us to determine your suitability. For complete details on what needs to be in your portfolio, how to present it and where to send it click here: Portfolio
Your submission can submitted online as a single PDF. Be sure to include your name, email address, telephone number and student number. Organize your work into a cohesive presentation, labelling each item, as well as including the size of the actual work.
Electronic Portfolio Submission
Please label your pdf and refer to it as “Graphic Design Portfolio” and include your name. Email your electronic portfolio to: design@algonquincollege.com in a single PDF document, and include your name, email address, telephone number and student number. Each piece should be clearly labelled indicating the title and medium used, as well as the size of the actual work.
Portfolio submissions will be accepted until the program is full. The earlier you submit your portfolio and confirm your acceptance, the better your chance of securing a spot in the program as it fills up quickly. For more information please contact:
