Algonquin’s BAA (Interior Design) program has once again been re-accredited for a full 6 year term by the prestigious Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA).
CIDA is an internationally recognized organization that accredits postsecondary education programs in the United States and Canada. Programs which are accredited meet rigorous standards ensuring the delivery of a well-rounded and relevant educational program that appropriately prepares graduates for professional interior design practice.
The Horticulture Industries Program is proud to announce that recent graduate Sarah Shapiro has been given the Larry and Anstace Esmonde- White Award from the Ottawa Garden Club. The award is in recognition of her work with the Horticulture Therapy program of the Perley and Rideau Veterans Health Center in Ottawa. Congratulations Sarah!
The attached picture shows Trent Correy, Algonquin College Animation graduate 2008, with Walt Disney Studios’ Oscar for Big Hero 6. This is the second Oscar winning movie Trent has worked on since joining Disney, the first being Frozen (2013). Congratulations Trent!
