You have been given a locket. 
Inside the locket is a potion.
The potion allows you to be any valentines inspirational character that ever existed. Just for the day. The romantic fool in you can’t resist. But who will it be? Will it be one of those dreamy eyed heroines from a 40’s movie, a swashbuckling pirate who sweeps his lady away with one hand on the rope and the other around her waist? Or perhaps even Tramp in ‘Lady and the Tramp’ as they share that single strand of spaghetti.
The only side effect of the potion is it compels you to say why you wish to be who you chose. That, of course, you can do in the box below which was magically produced here just for you.

I would use my potion to be a 12th century Knight returning from battle to re unite with my maiden. Medieval times, to many , is considered the birthplace or birth time of romance. Knights returning from other cultures brought back with them a new respect for the women of the village or town. It was a time of great parties,copious food and drink and a time of chivalry whereby convention stated that a knight should honor, serve and do nothing to displease ladies and maidens.
So I would be Tristan ( but only without the tragic ending.)
