A communications platform is provided to students in order to assist in sharing information with other students, their faculty and the administration of Algonquin College. All students enrolled in a College course are provided with an email account when paying the Information Technology (IT) fee. This service is a cloud based service provided by Microsoft. User data and information is stored off premise at a US location. This system provides students with a common directory, mail services, and calendaring services.
Students can continue to access their College email after they graduate provided they log in once every 3 months. Accounts that are inactive for more than a year after graduation are automatically removed.
