International Students in an Academic Program should participate in the following activities provided by Algonquin College.

Orientation details are sent to the personal email address identified in your Algonquin College admission portal. If an agent or representative submitted an application on your behalf, please ask them to update your personal email address so that you receive important information from the International Education Centre (IEC).

Topics includes immigration, health insurance, international student support/resources, safety and security, academic success and more. This Orientation will be delivered in a virtual format.
New International Student SocialIn PersonMeet other new students and become familiar with campus resources before the beginning of the term. This event includes:
  • Icebreakers and social activities
  • Snacks and Refreshments
  • Representatives from campus areas available to answer questions
  • So much more!
