HACKING VILLAGE

Ever wanted to run a penetration test, using hacker tools, against a system or network, but didn’t know where to start? Then drop by the Algonquin College Cyber Security Days 2.0 Hacking Village and learn how! This was a big hit at last year’s event.

The Hacking Village is located near the Trade and Job fair area, Building E (Student Commons).

The Hacking Village is the perfect opportunity for you to experiment in a safe environment with the tools, tricks and techniques of real-world hackers. There will be numerous challenges set up for all skill levels in areas such as: Network and Application Pen-testing, Wireless Authentication Hacking, and Password Cracking. Stop by throughout the day for several information sessions introducing you to the various concepts and techniques needed for each of the challenges.
