Canadian Cybersecurity and Cybercrime PanelDave Black has been a civilian member of RCMP for over 30 years. He joined the RCMP in a pre-internet / pre-cybercrime era and has transitioned into management of the RCMP’s Cybercrime Fusion Centre (CCFC), in HQ Ottawa’s Federal Policing, National Intelligence Coordination Centre.Dave is an active participant in many Government workgroups linked to cyber security or cybercrime. His duties include strategic assessment of crime trends, development of procedures for incident triage and guidance on security standards and incident response plans. His operational support role is centred on the RCMP’s ongoing commitment to innovative technical support services for both law enforcement and cybercrime prevention initiatives.
