Ersilia Serafini

Ersilia Serafini is the CEO of Summerhill www.summerhillgroup.ca an organization founded in 1993. Summerhill creates innovative market based solutions that generate sustained environmental and social improvements by engaging people and developing partnerships to influence consumer behavior. Summerhill is based in Toronto (with offices in Halifax and Regina), has 65 full time staff and over 2200 part-time program representatives employed for program delivery across Canada.
At the community level, Ersilia acts as the environmental representative of the Stakeholder Advisory Committee to the Independent Electricity Systems Operator (IESO), is a member of the campaign cabinet for Environmental Defense’s Just Beautiful campaign, and, is an active member of the Young President’s Organization and volunteers her time with the Foundation for Prader-Willi Research Canada.
Ersilia was named a marketing icon in the making by Strategy Magazine in September 2007 and profiled in a recent Italian Chamber of Commerce of Ontario publication on the next generation of Italian Canadian leaders. She is also a member of The Climate Project Canada having been trained by Al Gore.
Ersilia completed an Honours Bachelor of Science at the University of Toronto with a double major in Biology and Environmental Science and her greatest joy is spending time with her two daughters.
