Flexible Work Arrangement Program
On August 2nd, 2022 Algonquin College enabled a flexible work model that is learner driven, employer defined and informed by employee preferences.
This model provides employees with flexibility through reimagined workspaces, technology, and focus on employee experience and engagement. This program is designed to give employees the trust and freedom they need to complete their work at an alternate work location outside of the College campuses.
Through a position-based analysis, People Leaders have determined eligibility of position modality for employees to work either fully remote (local), fully remote (non-local), and hybrid work. This analysis includes a review of the Position Description Form (PDF) and/or Job Fact Sheet (JSF) to ensure positions are able to meet their service level agreements and key performance indicators while enabling a flexible work environment.
