Hospitality and Tourism degree students raise over $26K for local charities

Congratulations to our latest cohort of graduating Bachelor of Hospitality and Tourism Management (BHTM) students that raised $26,324.62 for five local charities:

  • CHEO
  • Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation
  • Do it for Daron
  • Canadian Guide Dogs
  • Harmer House

In addition, 10% of monies raised went towards a scholarship to help BHTM students in need.

This group of students has shown perseverance and dedication to their industry through planning, executing and hosting live events this Spring – all on a zero budget. These events are now in the history books but the impact of the money raised remains.

We wish them well in their future endeavours.
