Registration and Booking Appointments
If you have any of the symptoms below, do not call Health Services. Call 9-1-1 or go to the nearest Emergency Department.
- Significant trouble breathing
- Chest pain
- Fainting
- Significant worsening of any chronic disease symptoms
- Severe injury
Please note that Health Services is available only to students enrolled at Algonquin College.
Ottawa Campus
Registration for First-Time Visitors
If this is your first time using Health Services at Algonquin College, Ottawa campus, you must first register with our clinic by completing the Patient Registration and Consent form.
We will be happy to assist you in booking an appointment after you have completed and submitted the New Patient Registration and Consent form.

Book an Appointment
To book, change or cancel an appointment with a doctor, nurse or mental health nurse, you must first register with Health Services. To register with Health Services, please click here.
Those who are registered can book, change, or cancel an appointment with a doctor, nurse or mental health nurse by calling Health Services at 613-727-4723, ext 7222.

Cancel or Reschedule an Appointment
Cancel or Reschedule:
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, 24 hours notice must be given. You may cancel or reschedule an appointment:
- By phone at 613-727-4723, ext.7222, press option 4 to speak with reception or leave a voice mail message that includes your first and last name, date of birth, and the date and time of your appointment
- In person at our clinic in Building C, Room 141
If you do not give notice and do not come for your appointment, you will be subject to a missed appointment fee of $30.00
Health Services appointments are in high demand, your prompt cancellation will give another patient the opportunity to access timely medical care.
Urgent Appointments:
If you are triaged by a nurse and agree to return later in the day to be assessed by a physician, you will be subject to a $30.00 No Show Fee, if you do not attend this appointment.
Late Arrivals:
Arriving late for your appointment could result in:
- Having to reschedule your appointment
- A missed appointment fee of $30.00
- Longer waiting times for yourself and others
- Missing your deadlines for immunization for program placements
