What are the hours for classes?

Classes can be from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

What is the typical class enrollment?

Each program can have up to 60 students.

What is the teacher/student ratio?

For theory classes, there is a ratio of 1 teacher to 60 students. For lab classes, there is a ratio of 1 teacher to 15 students. For clinical classes, the ratio is generally 1 teacher to 10 students, but can be lower due to placement request.

Will there be weekend or evening clinical experiences?

Yes, as health care is a 24 hour/7days a week need.

Will I need to purchase a mobile computing device for this program?

As as student in this on-campus program, you will require a computing device that meets that specifications outlined by your program. Visit the Bring Your Own Device webpage for details.

Will I get to choose my clinical placement?

Generally, you may have a choice, but there are times where we will make that decision.

Is there a pathway for movement from the Personal Support Worker program to the Practical Nursing program?
