Wybourn Award Nomination Form

Criteria

The Wybourn Award will be presented to the Algonquin College student leader who most closely meets the following criteria:

  1. Is a fully registered Algonquin College student in any course or program at one of the three campuses (Ottawa, Perth, Pembroke), who has been nominated by two (2) Algonquin students.
  2. Is determined by the Selection Committee to have made an outstanding contribution to the promotion and/or upholding of student rights at Algonquin College during the academic year of the award, and has amply demonstrated belief in, and adherence to, principles of consultation and the democratic process.
  3. Has achieved satisfactory academic standing.

If, in any given year, the Selection Committee determines that there are no applicants who fully meet the criteria, no award will be distributed.
