A graduating student may apply for any/all of the Cross College Award(s) below that they meet the eligibility criteria for, or they may be nominated by a fellow student, by a member of the faculty, or by others in the College community.

  • The Robert C. Gillett Leadership Award
    A certificate and monetary prize are awarded to a graduate in a degree, diploma or certificate program from the Ottawa, Pembroke, Perth and Online campuses to recognize graduates who demonstrated exemplary volunteer leadership which contributed to the overall Algonquin College Student experience.

  • List involvement in clubs, on committees, or with extracurricular activities at the College and indicate the role held and the time in each position. Please indicate the nature of involvement in each activity (i.e. was the involvement primarily participatory or was it in a leadership role?). Nominators may also include relevant hobbies, participation in professional or community associations, and involvement in community activities or services.
