A graduating student may apply for any/all of the Cross College Award(s) below that they meet the eligibility criteria for, or they may be nominated by a fellow student, by a member of the faculty, or by others in the College community.

The Robert C. Gillett Leadership Award
A certificate and monetary prize are awarded to a graduate in a degree, diploma or certificate program from the Ottawa, Pembroke, Perth and Online campuses to recognize graduates who demonstrated exemplary volunteer leadership which contributed to the overall Algonquin College Student experience.
Award Criteria for the Robert C. Gillett Leadership Award
The President Rosser Prize
A certificate and monetary prize are awarded to a graduate in a degree, diploma, or certificate program whose performance within the College community has been outstanding in terms of leadership and participation in student activities and who has maintained a good standard of scholastic achievement in their studies.
Award Criteria for the President Rosser Prize
The International House Prize
A certificate and monetary prize are awarded to the best all-round graduate in a degree, diploma, or certificate program, who attended Algonquin College on a student visa. Selection is based on academic achievement and active participation in extracurricular activities within the College community.

The Steve Stafford Memorial Award

A certificate and monetary prize are awarded to a graduate in a degree, diploma, or certificate program who demonstrated unusual or extra effort while having completed their program as a part-time student, or having completed the majority of their credential as a part-time student.
