The Aggarwal Paramedic Bursary is awarded to two (2) first year (1st) students in the Paramedic Program (2nd semester) based on financial need.

Awarded to students enrolled in the Paramedic program who can demonstrate financial need.
Chances ‘R’ Police Foundations Bursary*
Awarded to students enrolled in the Police Foundations program who can demonstrate financial need.
Ed Ireland PPSI Bursary*
Awarded to students enrolled in any Police and Public Safety Institute program who can demonstrate financial need.
Esty Bybelezer Bursary*
Awarded to students enrolled in the Community and Justice Services program who can demonstrate financial need.
Gerald Dunlop Bursary*
Awarded to students enrolled in the Police Foundations and Paramedic programs who can demonstrate financial need.
Goudge Family Foundation Bursary*
Awarded to a student enrolled in a full time program in the Police and Public Safety Institute program at Ottawa, Perth or Pembroke campus who can demonstrate financial.
Vince Bevan Bursary*
Awarded to students enrolled in the Police Foundations program who can demonstrate financial need.
Yaseen Akhtar Memorial Bursary
Awarded to a student in the second semester of one of the following programs: Addictions and Mental Health, Community and Justice Services, or the Practical Nursing programs. Preference will be given to a student who identifies as Indigenous or as a refugee. This bursary is in memory of Yaseen Akhtar. Yaseen cared deeply about everyone around him, especially those among us who are less fortunate. He graduated from Carleton University’s Honours in Law program and worked as a consultant in information technologies and interactive digital media in the sports, business and telecommunication sectors. Yaseen passed away in 2021 following a long struggle with mental health and brain injury.
