Facilities Planning and Sustainability
The Facilities Planning and Sustainability department, deals with all matters in respect of planning and the use of the buildings across all Campuses (Ottawa, Perth, Pembroke and Corporate Training). It provides leadership, through the College Space Management Committee, on the strategic planning of College facilities, by developing and recommending the configuration and allocation of all College academic and administrative programs. The department further directs:

- Designing the layouts, test fits and then the relocation of classroom facilities and offices (academic and admin) to meet the requirements of the College
- Administers the archiving of drawings; construction documentation, project files, and other facilities-related records and administers web-enabled projects collaboration sites
- Arranging the movement and procurement of furniture and the set up for special events across the Ottawa campus
- Small office renovation projects
- Creating and managing all wayfinding and signage across the College
- Working on building, design and infrastructure, sustainability projects for the College
In addition to the above, the department is the key instigator for designing, fitting and organizing the development of new buildings and the 2024 Master Campus Development Plan. This master plan will deliver the building infrastructure to meet the needs of the College up to and beyond 2034.
