The team at the Experienced Worker Centre is comprised of two Intake and Referral Consultants and a WSIB Student Success Specialist. While our Intake and Referral Consultants focus exclusively on supporting you as you explore your options at Algonquin College (see How We Can Help), any member of the EWC Team would be happy to answer your questions. Role: Manager, Experienced Worker Centre
Passions: Family and friends, change and new beginnings, resilience and children’s mental health.

Role: WSIB Student Success Specialist
Passions: My family & friends, yoga, gardening- (I love flowers!), healthy living, community. Every morning when I wake up I plan to do something positive in the world around me – it starts with something as simple as a smile.
The best part of my job: Witnessing the dedication, pride and hard work of our students and seeing them succeed! The indescribable feeling that comes with playing a small part in student success!

Name: Michelle Ogilby
Role: Student Support Officer, Registrar’s Office
Passions: I am passionate about my family, travelling, reading, and writing. Broadway Musicals are my hockey season’s tickets! I also love the ocean and it’s creatures and am a little bit obsessed with Harry Potter.
The best part of my job: It’s hard to choose the best part of my job, but I love knowing that I am a part of a great team and helping students to ‘turn their hopes and dreams into lifelong success.’ And I know that it’s a bit cheesy to quote the college’s motto, but it’s true.
