Diane McCutcheon – Lifetime Achievement Award
This award is presented annually to an Algonquin College employee in recognition of exceptional leadership, service and a passion for excellence. Through their actions and contributions, the nominees have made Algonquin College the outstanding college that it is.
Eligibility
- Candidates must be current full-time employees of the College.
- Candidates must have a minimum of 25 full-time years of distinguished service to students, colleagues and Algonquin College.
Selection Criteria
Nominees for the Diane McCutcheon Lifetime Achievement Staff Award should meet the following criteria:
- Demonstrated exceptional service / leadership over a significant period of time. This award is for lifetime achievement rather than a single contribution.
- Displayed a wisdom and depth of service / leadership that has made a significant difference to individuals or groups.
- Exemplified the core values of Algonquin College (Caring, Learning, Integrity and Respect) through their interaction with students / clients and colleagues.
- Promoted excellence within the College, within the college system, and within post-secondary education in Ontario.
The submission should include specific examples that describe how the nominee consistently meets the selection criteria in a way that is exemplary and/or above and beyond the call of duty.
