Deborah Rowan-Legg Service Excellence Award

The Deborah Rowan-Legg Service Excellence Award was created to recognize the contributions of former Vice President of Student Services Deborah Rowan-Legg, who served at Algonquin College from 1991 to 2012.

This award is presented annually to a member of Algonquin College community in recognition of service excellence.

Eligibility

All full- and part-time employees of the College are eligible for this Award.

Selection Criteria

  1. Demonstrated outstanding client service in support of student success.
  2. Demonstrated the Algonquin College core values of Caring, Learning, Integrity and Respect.
  3. Recognized by colleagues for a ‘Here 2 Help’ attitude and for serving as an excellent role model in an educational institution.

The submission should include specific examples that describe how the nominee consistently meets the selection criteria in a way that is exemplary and/or above and beyond the call of duty.
