Eligibility Criteria
Students participating in the Cooperative Education program must meet all of the following eligibility criteria:
- Be enrolled as a full-time student in a Co-op Program.
- Complete all required courses for all terms preceding scheduled work term(s)
- Maintain the minimum cumulative GPA and course requirements as established by the academic department, and outlined on the Co-op Programs page. Achievement of the minimum requirements does not guarantee participation in co-op.
- Remain on cycle in the program of study and follow the program-specific Co-op Work/Study Schedule. Students must not fail or withdraw from any courses.
- Successfully complete GEP1001 – Cooperative Education & Job Readiness 2 academic terms before the first scheduled work term.
- Adhere to the Student Terms and Conditions at all times.
Co-op eligibility is reviewed each term. Where the number of eligible students exceeds the number of co-op spaces available, the Faculty Co-op Liaison will prioritize eligibility based on GPA and other identified criteria.
