Security Screening
Many advertised co-op positions require that a candidate obtain security screening in order to be hired. To ensure a smooth transition for students to begin their work terms on time we kindly ask you to consider the following:
- Post your co-op positions as early as possible, to allow for ample time for the security screening process.
- Contact your candidate once you have received their acceptance to start the process as soon as possible.
- Keep in touch with your candidate to keep them apprised of any necessary updates.

Job Posting Deadlines
Co-op positions requiring security screening should be posted before Round 4 of each term. Please review the Co-op Important Dates page for more information.
Last Day for Students to Begin Work Terms
In order for students to complete the required co-op hours for their program, they must begin their co-op work terms by specific dates. Students who do not begin their work term by the deadline will not be able to proceed with co-op. Please review the Co-op Important Dates page for more information.
