How to Become an Employer of Choice for Millennials

Time: Thursday September 27, 2018, 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM.

The Millennial generation represents the largest generational group in the Canadian workforce. This generation is driven, focused, educated, and ready to help your organization reach its potential. Algonquin College’s Cooperative Education Department wants to help employers develop and deploy effective ways of recruiting and retaining this new, high-performing generation.

About

The Co-op Department is proudly hosting the Becoming an Employer of Choice for Millennials event. Attendees will gain valuable insight into attracting Millennial top-talent and retaining this talent long-term.

This event will showcase a data-driven keynote session with Millennial Expert David Coletto, CEO of Abacus Data. As one of Canada’s leading researchers and speakers on generational change, David will share data and insights on what employers need to know about millennials: what makes them different, why it matters, and what you can do it about it.

“I have shared my perspective on my generation with dozens of organizations who value my data-driven, Canadian-focused content. By focusing on the generational differences and similarities that matter, I work to help bridge the gap between generations. My audiences leave with tangible and actionable insight they can use to empower their organization to succeed in a Millennial-dominated world.”

– David Coletto, CEO, Abacus Data

The event will conclude with a thought-provoking employer panel discussion with several top co-op employers.
