If you’re looking for a placement for September, you’re already into the job hunting season. You’re putting together your resume, writing some awesome cover letters, and preparing your interview skills.

But did you know that there’s another huge resource available to you, right here at Algonquin College?

Algonquin co-op students get to attend in-person workshops on campus, to help you through the whole job hunt process. And best of all? They’re included in your co-op fees!

Prepare for the Whole Hiring Process

For some of you, this may be your first time ever applying for professional or career-track jobs. The process isn’t the same as the retail or service industries. You’ll be asked different questions, faced with different expectations, and assigned different tasks.

And while you are more than capable of succeeding at this, it’s always a good idea to have some extra help. And that’s where these workshops come in.

The workshops are designed to walk you through the whole process of finding a job, from using our internal job board to having your best interview ever. You get to work with our professional co-op consultants to avoid rookie mistakes and stand out from the crowd.
