Four wreaths were laid on behalf of Algonquin College’s employees, alumni association, student body and Indigenous community.
Activities were also held today at the Perth and Pembroke campuses. A recording of the Pembroke ceremony is available for viewing.
President and CEO Claude Brulé read the poem In Flanders Fields written by Canadian physician Lieutenant-Colonel John McCrae.
A wreath on behalf of the Algonquin College Perth Campus was laid at the public Remembrance Day Service at the Cenotaph in front of the Great War Memorial Hospital in Perth.
