OneMatch Stuntman Stu #StuStrong

Come #GetSwabbed! In support of Algonquin alumnus Stuart Schwartz (Stuntman Stu), who’s now in leukemia remission, AC is hosting a OneMatch event on Monday, April 11 from 11 am to 2 pm in the Student Commons.

When you donate stem cells, you give life to one of the hundreds of Canadians who are in need at any given time.

Fewer than 25% of patients who need stem cell transplants are able to find a match within their own families – meaning 75% have to rely on the generosity of volunteer donors. Canadian Blood Services coordinates the collection and delivery of stem cells in Canada and work with registries all over the world to help patients access the stem cell treatments they need.
