Our culinary and baking students feature Ontario farm fresh eggs in many of their recipes

Did you know that eggs are one of the most nutritious foods available to us?

You might be surprised to learn about the wide range of nutrients, minerals, good fats and protein that is packed into one egg.

In fact, one large egg contains small amounts of almost every vitamin and mineral the human body requires, including vitamin B, E, calcium, iron, potassium, zinc, manganese, folate and more. All of these nutrients are found mostly in the egg yolk, while the egg whites contain only protein. An egg provides 6 to 8 grams of quality protein and is only 70 calories.

Rogers Service Interruption

Dear Colleagues and Learners,

Due to the ongoing Rogers Internet service disruption, all classes and services at Algonquin College’s Ottawa , Pembroke, Perth and AC Online campuses are being cancelled for the remainder of the day (July 8). All learners and employees, who are not essential to helping to re-establish College internet connectivity – or deemed essential by their manager – should please end their day early.
