This message is being sent on behalf of Algonquin College Health Services:

Algonquin’s Health Services department has experienced an unplanned disruption to its scheduling and clinical record system. This disruption means that Health Services will not be able to complete most appointments. This also means that Health Services is unable to notify patients of appointment cancellations, schedule new appointments, or access any patient chart information.

The College’s Information Technology Services is working closely with Health Services and the technical teams from Telus Health, Cisco and Rogers to resolve this issue. We are hopeful that this disruption will be resolved quickly and Health Services will soon return to normal operations.

You can contact Health Services at 613-727-4723 ext.7222 or by email at healthservices@algonquincollege.com for more information.

Health Services will notify the college community as soon as operations resume.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that this unplanned service disruption has caused.

Trina Budd,
Manager
Health Services

Learners spread kindness across the AC campuses

For AC Kindness Week, Feb. 13 to Feb. 20, we asked Algonquin College learners how they spread kindness in their community. With an overwhelming number of responses, here are just a few of the things learners are doing to spread kindness.

  1. Complimenting one another
  2. Offering help to someone in need
  3. Setting aside time to catch up with a friend
  4. Speaking kindly to one another
  5. Being an active and attentive listener

If you’re interested in getting involved in your AC community and spreading kindness in a long-lasting and meaningful way, consider volunteering through the AC Volunteer Centre. Learn more about the Centre and how to get involved using this link.
