Winter Storm Warning – January 9 and 10, 2024
|
Dear Learners and Colleagues,
Environment Canada is forecasting a winter storm starting this afternoon, January 9 and continuing overnight into Wednesday, January 10.
Please be advised that at this point in time, our campuses in Ottawa, Perth, Pembroke, and AC Online, are scheduled to remain open, with schedules operating as usual as per Policy HS07 (Emergency Campus Closures and Class Cancellations). Recognizing that conditions can rapidly change we suggest you continue to monitor College communication channels. You will be provided with further notification, should there be any additional updates.
We encourage everyone to plan accordingly, allow extra travel time, and prioritize your well-being when commuting to and from the campus. Please exercise caution, as surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways, and parking lots may become icy and slippery.
Please stay informed about weather updates and travel advisories for our Ottawa, Pembroke and Perth campuses.
Thank you.
