Brittany Oremush, graduate of the Registered Practical Nursing program at the College, is looking forward to continuing her lifelong dream of helping those overseas by way of a volunteer opportunity with Team Broken Earth.
Team Broken Earth is a volunteer task force composed of physicians, nurses, and physiotherapists from across Canada committed to delivering and improving healthcare in Haiti. The team was initially assembled to support the relief effort in the aftermath of the 2010 earthquake that left the people of Haiti in dire need of medical assistance. Read more >

“I’m 22 years old and a second year student. I am having some serious doubts about the program I have chosen. My family has put a lot of pressure on me to go into this program, but I don’t feel like it’s my true passion. I want my family to be proud of me, but I also want to follow my heart. Is it too late to change programs? What should I do?”
